Bridging the digital divide

What is DIGI-iN about?

As digital transformation reshapes society, it has become clear that educational systems need to upgrade their digital capabilities. This project focuses on supporting adults at risk of exclusion by raising awareness of digital rights and enhancing digital literacy. This will improve their prospects for better integration into the workforce and society.

The project emphasizes the importance of intercultural exchange and lifelong learning to build a more inclusive society where everyone can thrive in the digital age. It is aligned with EU values, addressing critical digitalization challenges and aims to have a positive impact on disadvantaged adult learners throughout Europe.

With high unemployment rates in countries like Spain, Greece and Italy, and a significant digital skills gap in adult education, the DIGI iN project seeks to tackle both of these issues.

  • Improving digital literacy
  • Promoting understanding of digital rights
  • Enhancing social and professional inclusion

Activities and outputs

DIGI-iN is focused on supporting adults facing digital and employment barriers. Many individuals, especially from remote areas or with limited education, are at risk of being left behind in the digital age. We aim to change that by providing personalized digital skills training and advocating for digital rights.

What to expect from DIGI-iN?

  • Digital Literacy Academy, a transnational training activity in Rome.
  • Digital Rights Booklet, a user-friendly resource to navigate the digital space.
  • Video series with entrepreneurial and job finding tips.

The DIGI-iN project is co-funded by the European Union through the Servicio Español para la Internacionalización de la Educación.

We continue moving forward hand in hand with our partner organizations: Synergy European, CIAPE – Italian Permanent Learning Centre, and Fundación Sorapán De Rieros.
